Terms of Service

Draft — counsel review pending. These terms govern hosting and subscription plans purchased from Arad Lahiji Inc (“the platform”) for a doula’s business website. They do not cover the content of any individual client site — see that site’s own privacy policy and terms for how it handles its visitors’ data.

Hosting and maintenance

Every paid tier includes hosting and major bug fixes: the site as delivered keeps working — broken pages, forms, and mobile rendering are fixed as part of hosting. Content changes, redesigns, and new features are not included in base hosting.

Attribution

Every site on the platform includes a “Made by” link in the footer. It is part of the service at every tier and is not removable or sold off.

Pricing, price lock, and billing basis

Listed prices are monthly. Paying a year up front saves about 34% on the Basic and Premium plans. The Custom plan is billed monthly only; twelve months may be prepaid, but that prepayment carries no discount. Service add-ons are billed monthly and are not discounted.

Your price is locked for 3 years from signup. After that, it adjusts by the trailing 3-year inflation rate.

Free trial

The Basic and Premium plans include a 30-day free trial. The Custom plan ($299/mo) has no trial, since it begins with designer time.

Service regions

Where the platform offers region-exclusive features, service-region boundaries are defined by the platform. Regions are neighborhood/borough granularity in dense metros and county/metro granularity elsewhere. Canceling a region-locked feature releases the region to the next doula on that feature’s waitlist. Region-locked features cannot be suspended. If a payment fails, the region is held for 14 days before it is released.
